Description

Thymalin is a synthetic peptide complex derived from the thymus gland of young animals (typically calves) and consists of short peptides that regulate gene expression, immune cell differentiation, hematopoiesis, and regeneration of tissue. PMC+2Paragon Sports Medicine+2

It acts to normalize immune function, restoring T-cell and B-cell populations, improving natural killer (NK) cell function, and promoting hematopoietic recovery after suppression due to such factors as aging, radiation, or infection. PMC+1

Preclinical and clinical research (mainly from Russian sources) indicates Thymalin supports immune resilience, reduces incidence of acute respiratory infections in older populations, modulates cytokine and fibrinolytic systems, and may have geroprotective effects. PMC+1

Intended Use

This product is intended for laboratory research use only.
It is not for human consumption, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.
All handling should be performed by qualified professionals in a controlled research environment.

Key Research Applications

  • Investigation of thymic-derived peptide regulation of immune cell differentiation and function

  • Studies on hematopoiesis, bone-marrow recovery, and stem-cell niche support

  • Research on age-related immune decline (immunosenescence), inflammatory modulation, and geroprotection

  • Analysis of peptide-based gene-expression modulation, cytokine/fibrinolytic axis regulation, and regenerative signaling
