Description
Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic water formulation containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic agent.
It is used in laboratory and research settings as a diluent or solvent for reconstitution of lyophilized peptides, proteins, or other analytes, allowing for multi-dose usage under sterile conditions.
The presence of benzyl alcohol inhibits microbial growth in opened containers, making BAC Water particularly suitable for short-term peptide storage, repeated sampling, and aseptic reconstitution procedures.
Each batch is filtered through 0.22 µm membranes and tested to ensure compliance with sterility and endotoxin limits.
Intended Use
This product is intended for laboratory research and compounding use only.
It is not for human consumption, diagnostic, or therapeutic administration.
All handling should be performed by qualified professionals in a controlled research environment.
