Description
IGF-1 LR3 (Long Arg3 Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1) is a synthetic analog of human IGF-1 engineered for enhanced potency and extended half-life.
This peptide contains a substitution of Arg for Glu at position 3 and an additional 13-amino-acid N-terminal extension, which significantly reduces binding affinity to IGF-binding proteins (IGFBPs)—increasing its bioavailability and duration of action.
In research models, IGF-1 LR3 has been shown to stimulate muscle cell differentiation and proliferation, enhance protein synthesis, and promote cellular growth and recovery via activation of the PI3K/Akt and mTOR pathways.
