Description

Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide belonging to the growth hormone–releasing peptide (GHRP) family.
It is a highly selective ghrelin receptor (GHSR-1a) agonist, known for stimulating growth hormone (GH) release from the anterior pituitary with minimal impact on cortisol or prolactin levels.

Unlike earlier GHRPs (such as GHRP-6 or Hexarelin), Ipamorelin exhibits a clean endocrine profile and strong receptor specificity, making it a valuable model compound for studying GH pulsatility, anabolic signaling, and pituitary function.
