Description

Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide belonging to the growth hormone–releasing peptide (GHRP) family and functions as a potent ghrelin receptor (GHSR-1a) agonist.
It is known for its robust and consistent stimulation of growth hormone (GH) secretion, exceeding that of earlier GHRPs such as GHRP-6 and GHRP-2.

Through activation of the GHSR-1a receptor, Hexarelin promotes pituitary GH release via phospholipase C–mediated calcium signaling, resulting in a pronounced increase in circulating GH and IGF-1 levels.
Preclinical studies also suggest additional benefits in cardiovascular protection, myocardial regeneration, and lipid metabolism, making Hexarelin a versatile research model for endocrine and metabolic regulation.

Hexarelin’s strong GH-releasing potency and consistent pharmacokinetic profile make it useful for investigating dose-dependent GH pulsatility and synergistic activity when paired with GHRH analogs such as CJC-1295 or Sermorelin.
