Description

Sermorelin is a synthetic 29–amino acid peptide fragment corresponding to the N-terminal region of endogenous Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH).
It acts as a pituitary GHRH receptor agonist, stimulating physiological growth hormone (GH) release through the hypothalamic-pituitary axis.

Unlike GHRPs, which act via ghrelin receptors, Sermorelin directly mimics natural GHRH activity—initiating calcium-dependent cAMP signaling and promoting pulsatile GH secretion without overstimulation.
This makes it an ideal research compound for studying GH axis regulation, endocrine feedback mechanisms, and IGF-1 synthesis in preclinical settings.

Sermorelin is frequently compared or co-administered with CJC-1295 to explore half-life extension and GH pulse amplitude in experimental protocols involving GH/IGF-1 axis modulation.
